Overwatch disable mouse acceleration12/23/2023 ![]() Oh sorry, forgot to mention - I figured I'd try these settings on Soldier 76 since he best represents your standard COD type of character and I found it easier to compare the differences when using RML's curve. I would not exceed 500 though as it feels really weird because of the turn cap. I am also still experimenting with boost with a 250 figure seems to work well and provides some much needed initial acceleration. I also tried a 1.00 X/Y which made vertical movement snappier but to be honest I am yet to decide what to go for (maybe pending hero selection?). X/Y ratio at 0.85 as per RML's BO3 settings to allow vertical stability - but to be honest OW does not feel as fast as BO3 so aiming for the head is not that bad. ![]() HIP sens at 44 as it seems to work well with the 4000DPI mouse setting. Go into System, Advanced, and disable max foreground FPS. Make sure to have Enhance pointer precision unchecked, and your pointer speed should be in the middle. time to do some more investigation, thanks for the heads up Apparently theres an option to increase mouse sensitivity as well in the Interface -> Mouse menu settings. Your application settings: Disable Fullscreen Optimization on win 10 or aero for win7. To make it easier to disable all of the unnecessary features or apps or even the Microsoft store Disable Focus Assist in Windows 10. As mentioned, I agree that low DPI is better in Overwatch so this curve fits in really well and really allows freedom of mouse movement (combat AA etc). wow really, i have that disabled allegedly. Completely Disable Game DVR Bar Turning it off is not enough, you may need to completely disable it. Disabling this feature lets you aim and play. I am actually running RML's latest BO3 curve (standard one not the full SMG aggressor curve).įull credit to RML - but his curve is the bomb for low sensitivity players. If you are an avid gamer, you should disable Mouse Acceleration because you could get killed for every second you waste trying to aim at your target. Aim Assist - not as bad as BO3 running a vanilla curve. High DPI and poll rate increase the mouse jitter.
